Biography

Wang Jian, Chief Physician, Associate Professor, and Master's Supervisor, graduated from Shanghai Second Medical University with a master's degree. He has been engaged in clinical work in plastic and aesthetic surgery for many years and has accumulated extensive clinical experience. He is proficient in various plastic and aesthetic surgical procedures and has distinctive insights into the management of difficult postoperative complications in aesthetic surgery.

In recent years, he has published more than ten papers in domestic and international academic journals and co-authored one monograph. He was awarded the Second Prize of the Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award once. He has undertaken one project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and one project of the Plastic Surgery Clinical Medical Center of the Shanghai Municipal Health Bureau.

His current main focus includes aesthetic surgery (blepharoplasty, rhinoplasty, facial rhytidectomy, and breast plastic surgery) and sequential treatment of cleft lip and palate. Through systematic surgical treatment for patients with cleft lip and palate, the lip and palate clefts are not only closed, but patients are also helped to better restore speech and appearance. Through dedicated research, Dr. Wang Jian has accumulated considerable experience in improving the outcomes of secondary revision surgery for secondary nasal and lip deformities after cleft lip repair, and has published multiple papers.
